Hey guys!I was kinda forced to work on some instrumentals when my band (13th Note) stopped functioning here in Toronto. Here are some tracks, recorded at my place using Steinberg Nuendo and Line6 Toneport. All tracks mixed by me; your comments are appreciated.
1. Mind & Motion:All instruments (excl. drums) played and recorded by myself
2. Ethnic Paradigm by Milieu: A collaboration between me and Raad, in Toronto. I did the solos and some fillers, as well as sequenced drums with Raad.
3. Nameless..thoughtful: My first home recording; all instruments by myself (excl. drums)
Comments? Suggestions? =)

sorry man, no taal kata kati . sorry if i have insulted your composition or skills by any degree whatsoever , for that was not my intention . I listened to the songs closely today , and the reason for my earlier confusion was probably the tones u used in the songs , for example the echoed solo tone used for the intro melody and slightly syncopated fills in Nameless thoughtless does indeed confuse someone who`s not really listening into it from the go . So , Kudos to u for being technical enough to confuse a listener !! .I also thought the transition from soft to heavy in the first two songs could be a bit less "direct" , or their might be a smoother way for the song to complete that transition into the diferent phase. A keyboard or synth , a bassist with a better presence and maybe a bit less of the "vintage" tones might do the trick. But then again , u did all this by urself and with one other musician , so once again -- hats off to u for the effort ! . keep it up , and i hope all of us will get to know u guys better in the future . And i truly believe in artistic freedom , and my suggestions are only from MY own judgment and expectation from the songs , so i really hope u won`t be offended by any of this . Loves ur progressions and i appreciate ur feel . hi5 ! |

hey bro ..thanks.. I actually thought I had overlooked something before uploading them, but no worries now. Thanks for the comments. The clean to electric transition is something I was not comfortable with at the beginning, and at the end kept the way it is. Thanks for listening and spread the word of our musical effort |
