Own composition~ Brinoshto Vruner shotkaar (this song is soo god damn good!!)…some others are yet to come.
Members and their influences~
Tridib (vocalist and also of Metrical)~ After seeing him sing I must say he is really good at covering the songs they perform. He has been singing for more than two years now and a very good vocalist indeed!
Influences~judas priest, black sabbath, deicide, death, iron maiden, megadeth, artcell, dire straits etc.
Rubayet (bassist)~Very much dedicated to what he does and a very co-operative person who wanted to start off as a vocalist but then became a bassist and whatever he is doing now is just perfect for him. He has been playing the bass guitar for one year and was with Annex from the beginning.
Influences~six feet under, morbid angel, death, megadeth, cradle of filth, cannibal corpse.
Tysir (riffs)~Well can’t say much about this guy since he wasn’t able to show up for the interview due to some unavoidable circumstances. Anyways he has been playing the guitar for more than two years now.
Influences~cannibal corpse, deicide, dying fetus, six feet under, pantera, etc.
Evan (lead)~I must say he is an amazing guitarist. Well we can say that he is the one who does the guitar works for the band and some of his works are brilliant. He has been playing the guitar for two years now.
Influences~dripping gore, cannibal corpse, dying fetus, deicide, and poizon green.
Reaz (drums)~Well there is so much to say about him but I don’t think I will be able to sum it up in few words since it’s gonna be never-ending. All I can say is that his drum solos are wonderful and so clear. He has been banging the drums for two years now.
Influences~arch enemy, james, cannibal corpse, deicide, artcell, dream theater, etc.
Sagor (keyboard) ~He has been with annex from the beginning but he is gonna leave soon. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see him perform at the jamming too. He has been playing the keyboard for a year now.
Influences~ children of bodom, cradle of filth, black, nightwish etc.
Rafi (lyrics)~Truly an amazing person and writes some heck of lyrics. He’s great at his works, which are all anti-satanism. He is also the manager of this band and has been writing for more than three years.
Influences~Jibonanondo Dashm, Nazrul Islam.
Mentionable gigs~Their first show at RCC and also another one at DBC which totally satisfied them by a huge response from the crowd.
Future plans~ As the band members say..” it is a totally anti-satanism band so want to remove total satanism from the BD underground music and create a total revolution, at the same time we are going to try to give a new meaning to the genre death and we are very much determined because we want to reach the top level”.
Message from the band~Thanks to banglaunderground for their co-operation. We also have a message for the people who worship Saitan and this is that you are nothing because you are worshipping someone who is opening a pathway to hell. Believe in al-mighty Allah and have faith in Him if you really want to get what you want.
