Ah awesome. I got back after a few months to see whats new in d/l section and I hooked up in this thread which I created and got a very few replies at first.
Thanks for all of your replies now I have read and its very nice to see that some are fans and some are interested to listen Floyd music.
-Those of you are looking for d/l some you can dig it here.**Link dekhte chan? Log In koren OR Goo Khaan** g=eng
I would recommend "Dark Side of the Moon", "Wish You Were Here" and "The Wall" as for your first step in Floyd World as because they are widely successful records in Rock 'n Roll.
-I have a massive collection of Floyd live concerts (audio and video) as I believe I have the most largest collection of their works in bd haha.
I wished I could share something with those of you who are already fans but I can't since my upload speed is shitty.
On another note, regarding of some of your posts I would just like to add here that Pink Floyd was a psychedelic band only for their 2 initial albums. But later years they dig their music on a mixture of "progressive" and a little spacey psychedelic rock music.
And yap their lyrics are just awesome on philosophical and political context. Even in my opinion Roger Waters is as talented as Lennon, Dylan or Neil Young OR sometimes may be more. What I love about his lyrics is they are very open for interpretation as people like. in many cases different people feel different meaning in their interpretation labels. Moreover this is not the first time that i have seen someone interpreting "Wish You Were Here" as a love song. But tell you what you are always free to interpret as your thoughts say to go through. Aside his lyrical talent Roger has a very distinct way to writing music and composing. Very unique as like his vocal.
Dave Gilmour is my favourite guitarist ever. There are hundreds of guitarist in rock history who blew up peoples mind with their music but still Gilmour is the best in my book.
They are awesome. Give them a try. Nothing can be more worthwhile for anyones passion for music. |

Ahhh.. I could spend years, just listening Pink Floyd. Those three crazy diamonds (Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, David Gilmour) will never stop shining in my sky. |
