So.. what do u guys think of the album? 
Unlike Rabindro shangeet, Nazrul shangeet scholars never prohibited using western instruments. So nazrul shangeet singers always had that advantage to present the songs to the new generation with a lil touch of modern rhythm WITHOUT ruining the original "shur" and mood. I think Shafin Ahmed did a very good job doing that. And he also showed his "munshiyana" in singing. I think this album is gonna be a milestone in his career and he needed to do something like this..after all, he is a son of two Nazrul Shangeet legends. 
and oh, do u guys still see Shafin Ahmed as a rock singer? |

| Man Shafin is da boss. emnitai Nazrul shangeet is one of my all time fav genre but Shafin ja korlo ta really a work of genius. The soft fusion of western instrument specially the touch of piano without distorting the original mood of Nazrul's immortal work - man genius chhara aita shomvob nah. Albub ta shune mone holo bohut dhoroner to bangla gaan shunlam but airokom akta album er jonno jano aajibon opekhkhay chhilam. And thanx to u guyz (polapain) ai rokom akta piece of work ke shohojlobbho korar jonno amader moto desh chhere bivinno khane chhoriye thaka hotovaga bangalider kase. |

| all i can say is that my Dad is in love with this album. i personally like this album too. much better than the other stuff he is experimenting with. |
