I've been getting into Bangla (Band) allot as of late. And was wondering if anyone can recommend me similar artists/bands. I really do like the modern folk element that they have.

if it's folk fusion music you're looking for then check out band ajob's self titled album, lalon's album biprotip and movie soundtrack 'monpura'.

and don't forget to give us your review biggrin

Banglar album gula to shei kobeee ber hoise! lol..but anyway tht's cool though.
i'd say re-dhun's album 'roj roj' has a folk touch to it...not rlly..hehe..but still..it's a joss album..so just listen to it..:p
Krishnokoli's album is very folk too. And then of course there r bunch more...can't think of a lot right off the top off my head. but yeah..if u go to download section..u might see the whole folk section.

I've downloaded the Ajob's stuff and Lalon. And both are great! (not as good as Bangla though smile)

I will check out Krishnokoli.

What's the name of the female vocalist in Bangla? she is very good!
