Amidst much excitement, expectations and fanfare, the 7th Pantene You Got the Look 2008 took place in Hotel Sheraton's Winter Garden. Grey Advertising Bangladesh Limited, on behalf of Procter & Gamble Bangladesh, once again arranged this prestigious beauty contest. This year, the judging panel for YGTL included the much celebrated model Bibi Russell, prominent photographer Anwar Hossain, Grameenphone Director of Marketing Rubaba Dowla, distinguished cricket player Athar Ali Khan of the National Cricket Team.
Many promising, smart and talented young people have come into the limelight through the seven years of YGTL. As a result, YGTL has come up to be a symbol of youth and glamour.
Entries came in from all across the country and only 120 were short listed for an interview. Twenty-four lucky finalists were chosen for a month-long boot camp grooming session. The participants were instructed on presentation skills to help them stand out on par with international standard contests. During the boot camp sessions, the participants performed various physical exercises, speaking tactics, dance routines and cat walking with exceptional confidence and grace.
This year YGTL was co-sponsored by Gallerie Apex and Herbal Solution Day Spa. Online partnership was provided by Bangladesh Info and Radio Foorti served as radio partner.
The glamorous and impressive styles of the YGTL 2008 participants were provided by 'Denial' by Ditan. Their expressive movements were choreographed by Xia & Brothers and the stunning dance routines were chalked out by Tanzim.

rubaba thik moto question korey... comment o korey
judge beside her is cool too.
some models were beshi joss. dil mein chakku obostha. others were thik thak okay.
i wish the answers were more strong. kew ee otto powerful answer dey nai i guess karon question oirokom hoy nai.
but i did i like one answer... qualities u need to be successful. i so agree
britney spears er im a slave was a really bad song to dance with
i wish choreographers gave more complicated steps on all the dances.
arnob bhai beshi joss loved the song.
oni bhai kamal bhai fataisey i loved their guitar work serious bukkey laggey. no complaints they were the best.
hosting er beginning ey paper dhorey daraichilo... i wish there was a stand to rest the papers it just distracts the viewer.
khut ber korchi ken cuz these ppl r prpfessionals they shud kno better
also cuz amar khut ber kortey khub joss laggey lolz
we saw some western dances, salsa jazz influence. ummm bangali dance koi gasey... fusion dilley kintu cholto. its all abt vision and choreography i feel we can have cultural interesting dances without being boring. we dunt need brotney spears songs to dance with.
behind the scenes ey outlandish er gaan disey. joss no complaints.
camera work is gud. quite organized. but not pleased with the performances i guess live is sumthing different.
an other thing amader ono country der dekhey hotash howa uchit, dekhey shikha uchit influenced howa uchit kintu copy kora uchit nah.
and nijeder jeyshob plus points achey nelect kora uchit nah
and be practical kno where we are weak and work on it build on it
i wish judge der eyta bola jaito. yes amra kom nah. and u kno wat we fought for a lot of things kintu amader aru better howa uchit. cuz we can be better.
much much better.
