Initially the journey began in 2000 with some friends. In 2003 friends of different universities got together to form a band named SMACK with a vision of practicing HEAVY METAL MUSIC. The band started off its journey successfully with a number of concerts in Dhaka & other cities as well. In one of those similar kinds of concerts, SMACK got introduced with a person of hidden musical fascination named Khaled Hamid Chowdhury. By profession he is a Barrister & one of the leading legal educationists of English Law around.
In his Law circle, he’s popularly known as KHC. KHC grew up with the taste of different kinds of music but mainly fond of ROCK music. Robin, the main Vocal of SMACK was also more comfortable with ROCK Music. Then another VOCAL Ahmed Afzal (Rumi) an x member of TEMPEST another ROCK band joined SMACK. Then the band decided to diversify into a ROCK band from HEAVY METAL with a new name ‘SETAR’. Eventually the errand began in 2005…. “SETAR-The New Journey”…. ‘SETAR’ practiced hard & tried the best to do better music.
‘UTSHORGO’ is the first project of ‘SETAR’ & an acid taste as well.

| what a weird name for a heavy metal band, where are they from? got any demos? they MUST have atleast ONE demo, considering, they've been a band for 2 years. |
