The artists having their own sound is not bad. But when Fuad bhai releases 3-4 albums in a year, you know he is not going for quality. Maybe Fuad is ok. Because he is not doing the singing all the time. But... 3 albums in a year is overkill...
It is when the newcomers also sound like the old ones, you know that the music is being restricted.
In one way Bengali music scene differs from anywhere else in the world: mixed band albums. Like Shopnochura, Aguntok etc etc. I can't remember major labels anywhere else in the world having something like this. The good side of this is that it removes the pressure of coming out with an album. The bad is that there can be a lot of bad songs. This won't change. |

well i like fuad bhai's songs.
and theres a lot of quality in his songs  quality nah thakley tar aito fans o thakto nah. r aito interviews o niwa hoyto nah fuad bhai er.

Fuad er ottachare ami oti shosta typer gan o shunte baddho hoi  . Jei typer lyric/shurer gan ami kokhonoi shuntam na. but becouse of his creative composition sometimes pura ganta ekbar, kokhono kokhono koyekbar suni.

ami o apnar shathe ek mot. bhalo bhalo musician der bhalo bhalo gaan with so josh lyrics and their so josh composition shunte shunte kinda tired hoye gesi.
I don mind to listen all the shosta lyric type gaan as long as the composition is soothing for my ears. |

It is normal to have albums with one good song? 4-5 good songs should be expected. But then, I rarely buy albums. So I shouldn't really care =p.
My mistake putting Bappa in the same line as Fuad/Habib. 
A nice example of sticking to own sound: Tahsan. When he released his first album, my bro got the cd and I thought it was good. I bought the second album when it came out. The third one? I listened to it and decided to pass it. It sounds so much like his previous albums. I almost thought I am listening to his old stuff again. |

Future a o amon obosthai thakbe. bhalo musician der beil nai but this type of songs are super duper bumper hit in bangladesh and people buy this kinda album like hot cake. kintu asha korte to dosh nai. inshallah bd er music aro onek uunnoto hobe.e. |
