I feel like he focused on simplicity of music. He didn’t do any experiments whatsoever. I agree w/ Galibz at the point that beshir bhag gan gula ekiy shunay….jemon…I find it hard to identify a song by its intro and such.
BUT, Balam ROCKS! Although I’m a die hard fan of new stuff and “daring steps” but still….u don’t hear a lot of quality songs like this..in terms of composition, and lyrics around. His voice perfectly matches for songs like Tomar Jonne or Lukochori….I gave this album 5! BD te thakle ashol CD taka diye kintam! He is more kinda lyric based musiz director…unlike Fuad…or “maybe” Habib…I am finding Habib quite monotonous nowadays though..he is doing some new songs w/ female artists and in my personal opinion those r not upto mark.
PS: the cover was SOO misleading! lolz. |
