| omg these songs remind me of hindi songs but still man i love it ... it's so soothing and i don't know why some of the tunes sound sooo familiar ... to me some of them match with a.r. rahman ... or mithoon idk lol i like it though! |

This is my personal opinion. Don't get back to me with the flurry, balam fans.
I didn't like that album.
This is not any jack in the box kind of album rather it is totally opposite. If you consider the album individually as if you haven't heard current the trend in bangla music arena, then may be it's ok.
But that not it and you are not deaf, right? Habib , Tahsaan has flooded with this type of music for last couple of years, and I am bored with Habib and Tahsan. And now, here comes Balam with that same old thing? His is exactly walking in the path which is paved by Tahsan, Habib and he didn't make any single attempted to put a step outside of it ( I am not even considering A.R. Rahman or other hindi artists). He has totally moved from his base to trendy music just simply like other total profession musicians. Who will say this is the guy who tuned part of "Shoishob" and "brishty nemechhe". Maturity doesn't always take you to the right way.
Fortunately, my expectation for this album was absolute zero cause I knew what he was doing now with "prem shikari" -type music. Thanks God, the expectation was zero. Balam lived up with his name and continues his legacy which his cheesy music. |
