Thanks to everyone who supported and voted for POWERSURGE all through this competition to make POWERSURGE as the DRockstars2 CHAMPION!!!
This is just sooo big for all the members of Powersurge to stand out as the CHAMPION of DRockstars' 07. Thanks to everyone of polapain.com once again for supporting us and appreciating our music style. Also special thanks to all the finalists bands Radio Active, Eclipse, Dour, Dreek and Bortoman and the top 20 bands. And Finally thanks again to all the fans and friends for the great support.
Powersurge is currently working on the band's 1st Full-length album and we're hoping to make it as per our level best and to release it as early as possible.
On important notes, I'm getting a lot of inquiries about the upcoming Powersurge album like how it would sound. Towards that, definitely Powersurge is a thrash metal band and Powersurge is trying to introduce Thrash to the mass people of Bangladesh and obviously DRockstars2 is a great platform to that. But Powersurge always like to do experiments and accordingly the full length will contain few experimental sounds which won't be only thrash metal could be softer could be more melodious could be harder could be emotional or could be anything. So I'd request everyone to wait for the Powersurge full-length album before calling us just a band of fast riffs and solos and screams, and then please listen to it. Because as a band, Powersurge is always doing aggressive extreme music on stage but individually everyone of Powersurge has a HUGE wide range of musical tastes and influences and skills rather than being just thrash metal rockers. So obviously, each of the members will try their best to make the album RICH with their musical skills and compositions. DRockstars2 has been a challenege for Powersurge, but by now as the band has already got the official platform to present themselves, Powersurge will always try to fulfill the viewers/listeners/fans/friends/criticizers/everyone's expectations since you are the people who voted for us to win the Battle of the bands and Powersurge will be always grateful to you everyone.
This is just the beginning for us, we have finally got the platform to establish and introduce this genre to mass level and there's a beginning of everything. Once Bangladesh was not ready for Pop when Azam Khan started it, once Bangladesh was not ready for Rock when Miles, LRB, Souls, Feedback (and a lot) started it, bands like Rockstrata and Warfaze introduced something very new to the mainstream music, later, Artcell, Black and Cryptic Fate introduced something new to the listeners. So now we need your support as for Powersurge to introduce something to the mass level but Powersurge won't just go for the thrash lovers only, Powersurge will try to relate the band's music to all the listeners of all the genres. We're really looking forward to it

I FEEL relieved and delighted to hear that Powersurge will always experiment and do various kinds of music, and not just trash metal.
It's always good to have a number of influences combined into one to produce something unique. Great job and all the best.
we are anxiously waiting for the album.

Don't worry, Powersurge will come up with a album in its very own style, and by experiments I didn't mean to go for any commercial crap =P So, don't worry about that. Powersurge is very concerned about the band's original genre, so please wait for the album =] and when I'm now in a mission to take the challenge of establishing Thrash metal in Bangladesh... keep your fingers crossed for Powersurge.
