ok, here's one. did you guys know that MILES's first album was in English? It was their self-titled album and was released in 1982. In fact the band's second album was also in English, titled "A Step Further"!!!
Am I good or what? hehe 
Did you guys know the song "Jaadu" (ki jaadu tomar chokhe...) from one of the Miles bangla album (i forgot the album name, probably "Prottasha", released in 1993) is actually an english song "Its a magic" from their first english album.
Hamin or Shafin wrote and composed this song long back when he was in the UK and used to perform in pubs to get some extra money. he used to perform the english version regularly in there. |

You guys must have heard the most (in)famous rumor of Bangladesh band history - kono ek concert e Sanjay jokhon "Ekti chele" er last er dik er high pitch ta dicchilo, tar golar rog (vain) chire jai ebong banor (monkey) er rog diye replace kora hoyechilo.
everybody was so sure about this rumor in 90s.
however Sanjay denied the whole thing and termed it absolutely baseless in a TV interview. |
