<It must be mentioned that these comments or opinions are solely mine and I am sure others will think differently since I have a reputation of giving comments, on music, which are no way near the opinions of most people. So please don’t over react or under react reading these comments>

Comparing three albums:
1.Icons – Ishshoronio
2.Nemesis – Onneshon
3.Stentorian – Protimuhurtey

Common negative points:
All the three albums have a common negative point. They lack variety or versatility (excluding stentorian’s “Mone porena?” and “Onubhuti”). Ek baare full album (each one of them separately) shunte gele ghum chole ashe.
Separate negative points are
1.Icons – Some of the songs lacked melody and it felt like jor kore shur banaye boshai dise. Rizu beta Black-er Jon’ke atto nokol kore!
2.Nemesis – Very less instrument work (so naturally the instrumental track was the worst). Another problem was that I kept on asking myself while listening to the album “Eta ki nemesis naki breach?”
3.Stentorian – A song comprises of mainly instruments, lyrics, tune (shur), and voice. Except for the ‘instrument’ part everything else was bad in the songs of this album.

Positive points:
1.Icons – Very complicated instrument work. You can call it ‘instrumentally rich’ album (track 10 “mrito” te bass-ta fattafatti hoise). They lived upto their genre.
2.Nemesis – Among the three the most ‘shurela’ album. “Na ghumder gaan” & “Shombhabonar pothe” are the ones worth mentioning.
3.Stentorian – Very Fast and waaaay coool guitar riffs and solos. Drumming ar basswork-o fast chhilo but separately bujha jainai.

Best track in all the three albums: Stentorian – Mone Porena?
Worst track in all the three albums: Nemesis – Release Key (instrumental)
<Just because I consider one of Stentorian’s track to be the best doesn’t mean I am recommending others to buy the album. In fact I recommend you not to buy it but somehow get hold of that song only. Well, then again that is my opinion. Who gives a damn?>

i agree........Nemesis was the best of the lot.

Icons was not bad, but lacked variety and ghum chole na ashleo seemed boring.

I haven't listened to Nemesis album...(I'm gonna listen to it very soon...)

Icons- Isshoronio: Now if I'm gonna talk about Icons album, I should say one thing and that is: in one word, it's a very packed album...
I've seen a post made earlier in this thread...the person said that the vocal tried to imitate Jon (Black)..., but what's the problem with that! I think, being influenced by a good vocal isn't a negetive thing at all...(and truely speaking...I'm not giving a 'damn' about your opinions... biggrin )

Stentorian- Protimuhurte: I should declare that...this album is the best pure bengali heavy metal album in BD underground metal history (so far)...now, as a listener I should recommend this album to those people who are into 'Metal' genre...THIS STENTORIAN ALBUM (PROTIMUHURTE) IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL...that's why songs like 'Mone pore na' and 'Onubhuti' counted as a top chart song, compared to other tracks. My personal favs are: Bidrohi, AD-2, Jolosrot, Misrobodh and Oshomapto. Vocals are too powerful (for soft rock listeners lol ), riffs are fast, melodious and catchy, couldn't find out the bass work and drums cleary (for poor mixing and sound engineering)...
So, in a nutshell...my opnion regarding Stentorian's album is...It's only for the Metal Diggers...not for the ballad lovers...
