Shumon's tribute to John Denver was a good effort. Overall the album is average though some of the songs strike a positive note. My personal favourite is "Methopoth". I recently moved to West Virginia and the song has new meaning to me now! However, looking forward to more original words and tunes from Shumon in his next endeavour smile

Well...we are having a debate on a similar topic in some other forum. I really don't have the time or patience to go thru it again. So I would jus say something here and that is Sumon vai wanted everyone to know about John Denver through this album. And he has been successful in his mission. I myself didn't know about Denver before I listened to this album and it compelled me to get the best of John Denver cd. So I think he did a great job in this regard. Regarding copying/voice/music/etc all I would say is that this is a tribute album. A tribute album is always supposed to be the artiste's own version of the band he is trying to cover. This is the same with all tribute albums. Listen to the Jimi Hendrix tribute to Led Zeppelin and you will hear a completely different (and more reggae) version of Led Zep songs and you will love them too. So the english lyrics being converted to bangla (he can't change them ryte?), his own voice, the basswork, elita's voice...I think it only portrays Sumon's version of John Denver and shud NOT be compared to John Denver himself!
